I heard or read somewhere that it is said-if you study something for more than three years, even just as a hobby, it will make you an expert in that subject. I am not sure if this is 100% true, but let’s just say it is. Then I should be an expert in healthy living and exercise. I have been reading fitness magazines since I was a teenager (way more than 3 years) ton’s of books, classes and how-to’s. So by my estimation- I should be one really educated, super smart and fit thirty something year old. As I was reading yet another fitness magazine I love, it dawned on me that I should be really fit with this wealth of information that I am taking in all the time, and I am not. I admire their shapes, clip the recipes, and file all the great tips in the back of my mind somewhere and then move on to the next wealth of information and do the same. I just finished two great magazines that have, as always great information, and this week I am not just going to file it away. I am going to try some of the exercises, and at least one of the recipes. If it takes three years to be an expert, I should have a PhD in this field by now, so, it is time I start using it.
I am hoping for a three pound loss and if it really does not snow again and it get this wave of great spring weather I will be spending a lot of time on the trails soaking up some sun.
I have gone back to (sort of, let’s be honest) eating clean, and eating right away in the morning, along with my fluid intake I lost the three pounds I wanted to last week. I am also going to add one more bottle of water a day to my already mounting intake.
