I would like to think I did relatively well food wise this Easter, but I don’t think that would really be the truth. We had a morning buffet, and there I did well. I ordered a half of a half of a mushroom and cheese omelet, fresh fruit, one blintz and coffee. Calorie wise I am sure it wasn’t so great, but it wasn’t bad either. Dinner I caved to the cheesy potatoes, pea salad, and cheesecake. I am still full this morning. I truly don’t know how anyone has great control on big food holidays.
I am still fighting on the water issue; my PT would like me to try and drink half of my body weigh in water. I feel like if I do that the Oompa Loompa’s will show up and push me out to sea. That is a lot of water. I have not yet figured out why it is so difficult for one person to drink even the slightest of required water. Yet I know that it will flush out my system, curb hunger and that sometimes dehydration could be why I am hungry and maybe why I can’t stop craving watermelon.
My three pounds were gone, after yesterday I am not so sure, I didn’t even bother to check today. My clothes still fit so I will just take that as a good sign for today.
I am in hopes of losing 3 pounds this week and if the weather channel is even slightly right I think I will be able to get a few extra walks. Those 100 crunches will also be happening 4 days this week as well as the other part of my workout routine.
It should be an interesting and painful week (muscle pain that is).

Drinking half of one's weight in water does sound overwhelming!

Can you imagine? I know people that do it and think I would flood my organs out. These people are also nice and fit.
