If ever there was a need for a Fresh Monday, it is today. I had company from Thursday on over the weekend. With the greatest intentions on eating healthier and being an example, to some degree I think that was the case, but when junk is brought into the house, I tend to want to eat it. I think it is a good thing that I am not weighing myself again this week. Anything gained may be minimal, but still a gain at the end of the day.

Alan once told me if I eat within 30 minutes and straight protein I am firing up my body’s furnace and will lose weight from that alone. I know I have posted that before, but I am holding myself to the highest of standards this week with proper eating both in food and timing. I did manage to keep with my fitness routine and am sure that is what has saved me from a five pound gain. I know when I eat things like fried Pita chips and cucumber dip my body feels sluggish and I get really tired. I think that is an obvious sign that junk food is bad and weighs me down in more than one way. Strangely enough I am grateful for my body feeling like crap, I guess it means that I am doing something right when I am on track and it is reacting when I am off track.

My goals this week-Not to weigh myself, eat my within 30 as well as healthy snacks and mini meals, drink more water and have an extra walk every morning as well as Zumba a few times this week.
I know I can do it!
