As I sit down to write this I am slightly overwhelmed with guilt over the two Cranberry walnut oatmeal cookies I had, and the one oatmeal raisin. I am just trying to think of it more as fiber and fruit. (I ate them though out the day Sunday)
I am still having fun with all my new old clothes and have been picking up some new things here and there. The one thing I was looking forward to when I reach my goal weight was my trips to-Anne Taylor Loft, Nordstrom’s and j jill. I had received an email earlier in the week with a list of stores closing and panicked and called the stores. Much to my relief j jill is not closing any of its stores. TG!
What would I have done with the gift cards??
I decided to follow some advice and have a cheat meal every week. Saturday night I had said cheat meal and am still bloated and feeling yucky from it (I know for sure it was not the cookies). It was a mushroom and cheese calzone and I skipped most of the bread, but what I did have really didn’t sit well with me. It was a good thing I walked 6 miles Saturday morning.
As with any goals- rewards are key, I am just finally getting to the reward stage and took myself to a 5 pound loss movie. I think I would have gone to see it anyway.
This week I will be doing and reviewing some home DVD’s and posting my opinion on this site.
Protein, water and changing around my meals is this weeks goal, as it a 3 lbs weight loss. 5 days of weight training and circuit training are also on the agenda.
If I can’t resist a few cookies now, I am worried what will happen at Christmas when I bake for a whole weekend! Of course if I make all these foods off limits then I will want them more and it’s healthy to have a treat now and again. That is me talking myself into being okay with the cookies.
Another Monday another fresh start!
Happy Thanksgiving!

Sorry! I didn't mean to cause concern with the e-mail message that I forwarded. They actually have a letter posted on their Web site to address the e-mail message and reassure potential gift card purchasers. I find their phrasing a bit of a hedge "J. Jill is NOT closing **all of our stores**. . . ." (Asteriks are mine.) They note that they opened some new stores in 2008, etc. Talbot's, their parent company, also has the chain for sale.
I didn't recall who sent the message as I went straight to panic. They did say that Talbots closed it's children' and Men's store. Of course I was only concerned with j jill.
