Since I am now seeing noticeable results, I have been asked what a normal food day is like for me and what kind of supplements I take, here it is:
Within 30 minutes of waking-
20-40 gram protein shake made with unsweetened chocolate almond milk (I add one pack of Stevia)
I then have an unsweetened Venti black iced tea
3 hours later- I will have a chicken, alfalfa sprout and cucumber sandwich on one piece of Ezekiel bread. Or will roll it up in lettuce or simply in the lunch meat.
2-3 hours later- I will have celery with natural peanut butter and one with light laughing cow cheese.
In between all this I have been drinking a bottle or two of water
2-3 hours- A handful of walnuts or almonds and sometimes Greek yogurt with protein powder in it.
Dinner- Large salad with chicken, sprouts, walnuts, cucumbers, mushrooms, spinach and lite blue cheese dressing-if I have not had enough fiber I will sometimes toss a handful of Fiber one on top.
Some nights I will have roasted chicken and broccoli or a turkey burger.
My food plan changes from week to week, but this is very much the norm. I eat blueberries and other fruits a couple times a week.
If I am feeling the need for something sweet I have a cup of unsweetened applesauce with cinnamon and walnuts in it. This is more the case on days I workout harder. Sometimes I will have that cookie or bag of 100 calorie popcorn it just depends on my mood and the day.
Supplements-
B energy complex
Calcium
Magnesium
Ester C
CoQ10
ALA
Cinnamon extract tablets
Zinc
Biotin
GTF Chromium
Evening Primrose oil
Resveratrol
Multi vitamin/mineral when I remember
Emercen C packets 2 at least once a day
I also take digestive enzymes when I eat and Acidophilus
There you have it-it may seem like a lot of supplements but it’s not, and I can feel and see the difference.
