I will start with-I didn’t lose my three pounds, but did lose one. That’s not too bad since it was a holiday week. I learned after eating really well the last couple of months that my body greatly rebels when I go off course.
We don’t do the traditional Thanksgiving unless forced. So we had Lobster tails, butternut squash, real sweet potatoes (not canned) salad, and cranberries. It was a fairly healthy meal until you add the way to salty drawn butter. I was unable to finish my food, but did get that lobster down. I had a half glass of white wine, but didn’t finish that either.
Much later I had a wee bit of pumpkin pie, but that too was painful. The next day I was still full and not feeling well until later in the day. My body is craving a lot of water and I can only guess that is from the very un-normal salt intake. I also think my stomach has shrunk considerably.

Speaking of salt, I have had the best hot cocoa from Strarbucks; it is their signature salted caramel cocoa. It was so dreamy until I just found out it has 400 calories and 60 carbs. Every once in awhile it will be worth it. Sometimes you have to say the hell with it and simply enjoy. I won’t die from one hot cocoa. Yum!
Their espresso truffle doesn’t looks so bad either, weighing in at 380 calories. That is an extra two 15 minute mile walks.

This week I plan to really be on my game enough so that I will be going to the rec center or giving some of those two week gym trials a try. This week is all about the burn.
I have tried out two of the DVD’s and still plan on posting my review but the holiday and brain fog got in my way.
I will shoot for a simple two pound loss and as always adding more water.

Focus body part of the week: Stomach ( I hate crunches)
