Today is more of a Frozen Fresh Monday. We have had this wonderful 50’ and 60’s weather and have just been hit with the freezing singles digits. My walks get shorter when this happens and Sunday was brutal. Not for the dog who was allowed to run leash free since we were the only ones visit the trail at the North Pole. I just hope I am burning good calories since I walk fats and hard just to stay warm. At least it wasn’t windy, so I don’t have that much to complain about, and it looks Christmassy.
Since Christmas is one week away and baking only 5 days away, I will be going to the extremes with my eating and working out. I also have caved and had a dish that had hamburger in it. I felt like crap for two days. My husband seems to think it was more mental. Men!
I did my two pounds this last week but am confident that I made up for it sampling Chocolate chip mint cookies, and hot cocoa as well as Jimmy Johns.
This week is the Biggest Loser finale and I love watching the amazingly fast transformation. I find it so motivating even though I don’t have kind of weight to lose; they work ten times harder than I do.
My thought is: If they can do it why can’t I? I don't watch the show all season, just the ending.
Recently I read an article that said if you want to own a piece of do it all equipment, buy a rowing machine. I am thinking about that.
Since I don’t have a lot of mini goals this week, I will update the insanity later in the week.
If anyone has diet tricks for the holidays that don’t involve drinking a ton of ice water I would love to hear them.

I love it that you and Maya have both decided that you're each living at the North Pole! No need to dream about a white Christmas this year.
I was just reading an article the other day about how they lose the weight on that show. I'll e-mail the link to you when I remember where I was reading at the time, just for informational purposes. It was pretty interesting.
