I have made it a whole week without weighting myself and am going for one more (I had my hubby hide the scale). It was becoming unhealthy and obsessive. I can tell my clothes fit differently and will take that as a good sign, two more pair of pants are now too big to wear. My goal for the 200 sit-ups remained a good intention in my mind but I plan on starting them today-really I do, and moving forward with these great intentions all week long. My new trails have proved to be a decent workout as well. The inclines and different terrains originally provided me with shin splints, but are now just fun to explore. To bad it is bug season! Nothing like gnat protein on a walk…Yuck!
I feel like I have the same goals week after week, and it is getting boring. Better foods, more proteins, more water….blah blah blah. I think this week I will just try something new, keep track and report it later.

I think that's very healthy to back off from the scale and exact numbers if you think you're becoming too focused on actual weight. As you've said all along, getting healthy and making better choices is more important than a number on a scale, anyway.
The scale became a three time a day or more habit. It wasn't good and my focus was so lost. I must say it is bugging the crap out of me not being able to weigh myself, but I can make it one more week. Hopefully by then I will have broken that habit.
