
Every year on my birthday I reevaluate where I want to be the next year in all aspects of my life. Many do this on New Years, but I think birthdays are better, unless of course your birthday is January 1st. This last weekend I turned 39, where did the time go? Next year is the big 40. So many of my friends that have turned 40 said it was the best year of their life so far. I am not stressed about turning 40 but plan on turning it in the best shape of my life.
On my birthday I had a consultation with another trainer and now have a new routine. Within 30 minutes of waking I go for the cardio. Today was my first day and it is not good to bring the puppy. Tomorrow I plan to pound that pavement. I got my cardio on, had my protein and was alert and way to chatty all day. It gave me a burst of energy. I am not sure that I can stick to this plan everyday since sometimes things just get in the way. On those days it is back to the protein for breakfast right away. My protein intake has been upped and I think I actually made it today. My household menu is changing for more of the Clean Eating that I have been doing alone. No more!
Yoga is still a big part of the plan as is Nordic walking. I plan to get my poles this week. With fall fast approaching I am very excited to add this to my walking routine. I see people all over doing it and read great things.
The girls I grew up with my whole life will also be turning 40 next year and I want to look great if we make it to Hawaii.
There is still really no news on my burning belly issues so I will continue on like it is not happening and stop worrying, or at least try.
This week I plan to try my best to stick to the new plan. I think that will be work enough. Of course this plan will keep changing but I am exited to get going. 363 days to go!
