
I think the New Year is starting off on the right note, health wise anyway. I successfully lost all that was gained over Christmas, thanks in part to the great weather we are having and getting back on schedule.
I have been reading a lot of health related articles since there are a lot of those this time of year, and, in speaking with others that have a successful track record I have found a key rule, one I ignore on a daily basis.
Thirst First-meaning, are you hungry or thirsty? I have made that my new goal for this week to always check Thirst First.
I have found that when I drink a lot of liquid on a daily basis, my body does a better job at functioning, or so it seems. I am also less hungry and crave less sugar.
I will be working out 5 hours a week, over and above my daily walks. I will use the 21 days rule, some how.
My goal this week is to lose 3 pounds-All week we are looking at pleasant walking conditions and this make for much longer calorie burning walks. I will be meeting and talking with people in the health and fitness field this week and am excited for all the new ideas. I have already learned two new exercises that I am excited to try out, both are for the hips and rear.
