I often wish I could snap my fingers and have the desired results I am looking for. Why is it so much easier to gain five pounds than lose three? Calories in calories out, how many times in a day do I say that? People say that losing weight or being your desired weight will not make you happier, I totally disagree and know several other that would second that. Happy in your skin, happier in your life. You would feel better, look better, have more energy and so on...

This week I will have the company of my fifteen year old nephew. He is active and will keep me busy for five days. Now if I could just balance the calories coming in with those going out, it will be a great thing. I always seem to gain a pound or two when people come for a visit.

I am still extending my walks when it isn't blistering hot and upping my water with my wee bottles. I don't have a goal in mind this week other than to enjoy my nephew and the fun family time we will have when he is here.

I have also found that I like the "real California rolls" and the Tao rolls. Who knew? I don't so sushi but this is all cooked and rather healthy with good protein, heart happiness and three pieces are rather filling. Trying new foods can be exciting or scary.

Since I can't snap my fingers and have things they way I want them, I guess I will wait around for more patience.
